The Myrtleford Festival

A full-on weekend of fun for everyone in beautiful Myrtleford! Held every year over the Victorian Labour Day long weekend in March - for over 50 years!

Myrtleford is a beautiful town with plenty to celebrate, and we invite you to enjoy our good life at the 54th Myrtleford Festival, held during the Labour Day long weekend, 6-10 March 2014.

1961 saw Myrtleford’s first Festival, which celebrated the region’s agricultural prosperity and diversity, and acknowledged the role that the planting, growing & harvesting of a range of renewable resources played in this richness. The Festival has grown beyond these roots and is now a full-on celebration of everything that's great about life in Myrtleford.

Myrtleford’s friendly locals welcome visitors to come, stay & enjoy the Festival, set in the magnificent surroundings we proudly call home. Events and activities held during the extra long weekend include the Myrtleford Arts Prize, floral, embroidery and historical exhibitions, tours showcasing Myrtleford's history and envorinment, breakfast in the Piazza, and sporting events.
In addition, the Festival Market, Rotary Street Parade and Street Party offer live entertainment spread over Saturday - come, sit back, relax and enjoy live performances and wonderful regional food and wines.

The weekend will be packed with plenty to do for everyone. The Myrtleford Festival is truly a family festival, and fun for everyone! So come on - have fun and be entertained in beautiful, friendly Myrtleford.
